Here's another non Christmas card using Season of Joy. Looking at this card you'd have no idea it had come from a Christmas set. Both the flower and the swirl are part of the set.
It's only available until the end of this month. Don't miss out - order it today.
This card uses a sketch from Beate. It was a fun sketch to play with. Originally it was going to be a card for my dad but I'm not sure now whether it's masculine enough. Will have to see if I get time to make another one. The scallop edge is created using the slit punch, the fish is coloured in using Stampin' Pastels. The tutorial on the technique used can be found on my customer newsletter. If you're not already subscribed why not sign up today.
Customers and Demonstrators have been asking for single markers for a while and this month Stampin' Up! granted us our wish. From 10th November until the 30th November you can purchase Stampin' Write™ Markers in single colours for just $4.95 each. Click here to see the individual colours and their order codes.
Below is a card inspired by Kristina Werner. Kristina's used one colour for the words but I decided to use the Certainly Celery and the Regal Rose markers to colour in the stamp.
Australian Stampin' Up! customers why not subscribe to my newsletter to see which 5 marker colours I use the most often. You can subscribe over on the right hand side of this blog.
I needed to make a card today using Season of Joy in a non Christmas card so I thought I'd give Kristina's colour challenge a whirl. It's probably more Pumpkin Pie than I'd normally use but it fits in well with the challenge image.
What better way to start your birthday than opening a pile of handmade cards. These beautiful creations were sent to my by team members, fellow demonstrators and customers. They are all proudly on display hanging on my wall. I have more that arrived today to still photograph. Thank you to everyone who sent me a card.
A big thank you also to the members of my team that threw me a virtual birthday party.
Joanna brought the champagne, Margaret the cake, Alana provided the candles, Lin Mei, Kari and Carol the flowers, Merryl the card, Teneale and Kim the balloons, Beth the streamers, Karen the cupcakes, and Susanne the choc chip cookies and lolly bags. I hope I didn't miss anyone out. It was such a lovely thing to wake up to an email telling me to check out everyone's blogs. My team are such a lovely group of people. If it wasn't for Stampin' Up! I would probably never have met so many of these kind, generous and inspirational people. Thank you.
This is a set of cards I have in the current issue of Australian Cardmaking Stamping & Papercraft (formerly Stamping & Papercraft). It was a lovely set to work with and colouring on the Stampin' Up! watercolour paper made it all come together.
Which colour scheme do you prefer? The Bordering Blue or Really Rust.
If you'd like details of how to make the cards then grab yourself a copy of this month's magazine.
Check out next month's magazine for another set of my card with a completely different look.
Pink isn't a colour you see very often in a house with two small boys! So it's always fun when I get to make a card for a girl. This card uses the Pretty Princess stamp set. This set is one of five reduced by 20% if you spend $20 on other product.

The first challenge on our October team cyberstamp was for a Christmas pocket card.
I decided to use the Cutter Kit and freehand cut the curve along the tops of the insert and card. A few baubles and some ribbon and it all came together quickly. Pocket cards make great gift vouchers.
If you'd like to purchase a gift voucher for a Christmas gift (or any other occassion) just contact me today with your details and I can make one up for you.
The comments on the card in the post below were split almost 50/50 so I think I'll hold on to this card until I know the couple really well. Thanks everyone for your comments.
The card above is the card I made to fit the actual cyberstamp challenge we were set!! It had to be a Christmas card and fit a sketch from Taylor Vanbruggen.
This card uses a stamp from the Lovely as a Tree stamp set. I stamped the trees in Blue Bayou first then used Versamark to stamp the middle tree before embossing it with silver embossing powder. The edges of the card I swiped on the Versamark pad and embossed again.
