On Sunday night I wanted to craft and watch Wimbledon! So for the first set I stamped and coloured in lots of images from Love You Lots. Then for the rest I sat on the sofa and mounted them using Dimensionals onto note cards. I bundled them up into packs of 4 (one of each image), popped them in a cellophane bag and tied round some ribbon. I managed to make 20 sets during the game. This box holds almost 40 sets and they're going to be start of term gifts for the lovely staff I teach with.
PS A cup was great for wrangling the backs of over 300 dimensionals! Where's the strangest place you've ever found the back of a dimensional? Mine is probably the guinea pig hutch! Product List
Here's another card I made during my team stamping night. This one was a colour combination challenge - Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party and Crumb Cake. I wasn't 100% happy with this one - I think the white space is too much!
The fox set is lots of fun to play around with. I've seen lots of great ideas for other animals you can create with it. Product List Stamp
A couple of nights ago I held a online stamping night with my team. I posted a few challenges through the evening and we chatted online. It's always a great way to get back stamping again. For the card above we used a sketch challenge site for inspiration. Pals Paper Arts run a weekly challenge and it was fun to join in.
For this card I inked up an acrylic block, spritzed it with water and then stamped it onto wet watercolour paper
For this card I've used the Letters For
You stamp set. They're a great size for using as the main focal point on
your card. You can either cut them out or splash out on the coordinating
framelits. I've used a piece of the Serene Scenery paper pack for the
background paper and added some pearls to finish it off.
The baby in question has the surname Love
so adding the word love underneath was perfect.
Due to the stamp set and framelits the
supplies for this card are on the expensive side! Watch out for more ideas on ways to
use the letters/framelits later in the month.
More note cards! This time they're using the Jar of Love stamp set. I worked on these on my weekend away and realised I didn't have any floral Designer Series Papers with me so I made my own using the flowers from the Fresh Fruit set! The coordinating dies make it quick to cut out the images. I mounted them on the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
OK they haven't quite started but they will tomorrow! Don't miss out on the great special. You can order by getting in touch or heading to my Online store - that way you can shop at any time of day or night!
When I was at the On Stage Local event a few months back I saw the Project Life Card Collection - Hello Lovely, and thought how great they were for just using as little cards to send messages to people so I ordered a set.
They're also great for using to make quick cards. I've used the spotty one here as a mount for the very cute frog in the new hostess set Hello Lovely. The greeting is from a set called Better Together which has lots of useful greetings.
As it's school holidays you'll get to see lots more samples over the next few days. Especially after a weekend away crafting. The 'Just a Note' greeting features on lots of them!
